When I closed it, the handle got caught in the latch, making it impossible to open. Locked inside was my wife's clothes, make-up and other items required for our trip. It was 5:08 on a Friday afternoon and the service technicians go home at 5:00. We called anyway, desperate, as this was our only hope to take our vacation. Roman Lopez answered, and agreed to look at it if we could get there soon. Roman, Bryan and Steve, managed to reach into the trunk, through the back seat pass through, grab a release lever, and open the compartment. This is not as easy as I just made it sound. They were under no obligation to do this after hours, and refused to accept cash from us as an appreciation for our enormous gratitude!
From start to finish it was a very nice experience. Clear that they are committed to and passionate about Volvos (not a multi-make group, as many dealers in San Diego are). There was no "pushiness" to the sales process. Facility was new and clean and had a high-quality feel. "new" car purchase/lease and it was incredible. This was night and day compared to the usual sleazy sales tactics. Besides Adrian, the finance person was also very friendly and helpful. At no time was I pressured into purchasing anything and all information I was given was accurate and complete.
